The wall was getting taller by Wednesday.

The other side looked like the Alamo (maybe that's just because I go to San Antonio a lot).

The other side of the wall looks like this.....

getting ready to pour more cement, which they did on Friday.
This is fun to watch....the cement comes pouring out of this huge "crane" and all these guys works to smooth it out.

The fun job is driving the "hovercrafts" that smooth it out/dry it....

so now they're ready to build more walls!

The walls are going up on the new Jr. High!

On Monday, the construction crew took advantage of the perfect weather so....

....by Tuesday it looked like this!

Plenty of bricks are stacked behind the "old" Jr. High...

... and an strange-looking piece of equipment that someone bangs on early every morning .
Meanwhile, on the other side of the wall, they're making another "sand box" so they can pour another foundation.

And behind the "old" Jr. High looks like this.

Something is starting to go up between the Jr High and the Band/Art room, too.

and this "form" in front of the Band/Art room later got filled with cement....

before the "rain delay".

Rain on Saturday and (Easter) Sunday made everything a little bit muddy.

Cement is starting to show up
between the forms that have been built.

This "form" behind the elementary school was filled with sand one day
to get ready for....

this huge truck to spill cement in it.

Now it looks like this!
I can (almost) picture a school sitting on that spot!
It's starting to look like a construction site.

Lots of digging....

and the trailer with all the stuff in it.....

and leveling out the spot for the new building to sit on.

Here's the cool picture of the truck spraying the dirt.

I couldn't get too close because of the fence, but I still got wet!
